Gareth has returned to JLL after previously working with the company from 1999 to 2007, during which he successfully built the Central and Eastern European Capital Markets business into a regional market leader. With over 25 years of experience in real estate and investment, Gareth most recently held positions as Chief Investment Officer at Capital Partners and later as President & Chief Investment Officer at Vault Development Partners, a specialized single-family home developer in the Hamptons.
“Gareth’s promotion to a senior position underscores our dedication to growth and meeting the needs of our expanding global client base in this thriving sector,” commented Matthew Richards, CEO Capital Markets, EMEA. “Following Luke Jackson’s transition to APAC earlier this year, Gareth’s addition strengthens JLL’s data center capabilities worldwide. His expertise in capital markets and past success at JLL will enhance our global platform, enabling us to provide the advanced solutions our clients demand in today’s rapidly changing data center industry.”
In his new role, Gareth will lead a comprehensive EMEA Capital Markets Data Centre team, utilizing JLL’s extensive technical knowledge and strong client connections across the occupier, operator, developer, and investor sectors to solidify the company’s leading position in the market. Gareth will collaborate with data center specialists throughout EMEA, as well as with JLL’s Debt Advisory, Real Estate Investment Banking, and Investment Sales & Advisory teams. He will also closely coordinate with leadership in the Americas and APAC to ensure seamless service delivery to JLL’s global clientele.
