Mercury Power Expands to Southampton with New Office Space

Mercury Power, a leading company with operations in Surrey, Burnley, Lancashire, and Amsterdam, has recently made a significant move by expanding to Southampton. The decision to open a new office at Prospect House represents a major milestone for the company.

The newly established office at Prospect House boasts a modern and open-plan layout, complete with a kitchen area and meeting rooms designed to cater to clients. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art wide-screen monitors, height-adjustable desks, and ergonomic seating for staff, creating a space that prioritizes both productivity and comfort. Sustainability is also a key focus, with energy-efficient lighting, eco-friendly office equipment, and sustainable materials incorporated into the design to minimize environmental impact.

Currently operating at 60% headcount capacity, the Southampton office has ample room for future growth, particularly within the sales team, which plays a crucial role in the company’s organic expansion.

Mercury Power has experienced remarkable growth since its 10th-anniversary celebration in 2023, with revenue increasing by an impressive 250%. The company is set for another successful year in 2025, with plans to expand into the Middle East, enhance its AI and sustainability offerings, and increase its presence at industry events.

Exciting Developments Ahead

Simon Elliott, the Finance Director at Mercury Power, expresses his excitement about the company’s growth and the new office in Southampton. He mentions the investment made to expand the UK operations team and the commitment to hiring future talent in Hampshire.

Recently, Mercury Power partnered with Apex Investments, a prominent investment holding company in Abu Dhabi, to drive innovation in next-generation technology. This collaboration combines Mercury Power’s expertise in critical power with Apex Investments’ strategic focus on emerging technologies, shaping the future of the data center industry.
