Trane Releases New Water-Cooled Self-Contained Units for Commercial Buildings

Trane has introduced the latest models of its Water-Cooled Self-Contained Units, offering flexible options for commercial building applications that require smaller footprints. Along with the new units, Trane has also launched an updated version of its TRACEĀ® 3D Plus modeling software with enhanced functionality.

ā€œTrane is dedicated to helping customers enhance energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and improve overall comfort,ā€ says David Molin, vice president of Trane Product Management. ā€œWith the increasing demand in data centers and high-tech manufacturing sectors, Trane is providing engineers, specifiers, and contractors with more options to meet the requirements of new construction projects.ā€

Trane Climate Changer for Data Centers

The Trane Climate Changer for data centers is designed to offer versatility, efficiency, and quick installation for those looking to reduce carbon impact and water consumption. These units are ideal for data centers that require precise cooling solutions and feature fan coil walls configured for 45,000 to 60,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM). The compact design and energy-saving features make it a reliable choice for data center cooling needs.

Trane Climate Changer for High-Tech Industrial

For high-tech industrial manufacturers, Trane offers the Climate Changer units that meet the critical air purification requirements of the sector. These units are customizable and designed for Air Handling Unit (AHU) and Blower Coil Unit (BCU) applications, providing high-performance filtration and energy-efficient operation.

Redesigned Trane Water-Cooled Self-Contained Model SWUD

The redesigned Trane Water-Cooled Self-Contained Model SWUD utilizes the next-generation R-454B refrigerant, offering improved efficiency and reduced carbon emissions. With a smaller footprint and enhanced energy-saving features, this unit is suitable for low- to mid-rise construction projects, providing a cost-effective solution with long-term benefits.
