Northern Data Group, a prominent provider of AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) solutions, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Gcore to establish a comprehensive AI platform that integrates both hardware and software for AI deployment and inferencing.
This partnership has led to the creation of the Intelligence Delivery Network (IDN), a worldwide low-latency network boasting 180 points of presence and a capacity exceeding 200 Tbps.
This joint endeavor is aimed at tapping into the expanding AI inferencing market, which is anticipated to hit USD 169 billion by 2032. Gcore’s Everywhere Inference platform offers GPU-as-a-service (GPUaaS), opening up new avenues for enterprises and AI model developers.
“By collaborating with Northern Data, Gcore and our corporate clients will gain access to one of the largest liquid-cooled GPU clusters and substantial data center capacity on a global scale. This partnership aligns with Gcore’s goal of enabling universal AI connectivity with minimal latency, harnessing cutting-edge infrastructure to power the next wave of AI-driven applications,” stated Andre Reitenbach, CEO of Gcore.
Furthermore, Northern Data has secured an option to potentially acquire a majority stake in Gcore, contingent upon due diligence.
The integrated solution offers real-time, on-demand AI infrastructure with top-tier security and data sovereignty measures. Northern Data and Gcore are committed to expediting the adoption of AI on a global scale through their collaborative technologies.
In a separate collaboration, Gcore recently partnered with Mirantis to streamline and expedite AI deployment and infrastructure management processes. Notably, Gcore has achieved revenue exceeding USD 80 million in 2024, underscoring its strong foothold in the market.
