In a groundbreaking move, Mansfield Pollard and BladeRoom Data Centres have officially joined forces to bring cutting-edge cooling solutions to data centres across the globe. With a strong 15-year history of collaboration, this partnership is set to reshape the landscape of data centre cooling systems, catering to the rapidly expanding market with industry-leading technologies.

One of the main objectives of this alliance is to enhance research and development efforts, with a specific focus on advanced air and chilled water-based cooling technologies. These innovative solutions are essential in meeting the surging demand driven by AI and high-performance computing applications, ensuring that data centres can seamlessly integrate new technologies while supporting existing infrastructures.

The progress made so far is nothing short of impressive, with 210MW of IT cooling already delivered and numerous systems currently in development. These customized solutions are designed to be future-proof, incorporating state-of-the-art technologies that can adapt to evolving computational needs while also supporting legacy systems. Sustainability and efficiency are key pillars of these advancements, ensuring that data centres can operate at peak performance levels while minimizing their environmental impact.

As data centre cooling requirements continue to escalate due to the evolution of chipsets and processing demands, the partnership will focus on hybrid system architectures. By combining the strengths of air and liquid cooling, these designs will enable seamless integration into both new and existing facilities, supporting retrofitting strategies that prolong the life cycles of data centres.
