Scale Computing, a provider of edge computing solutions, has strengthened its partnership with Lenovo to bring an affordable edge solution to any business, through new “HC3 Edge” offerings powered by the Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100 in collaboration with the new SC//HyperCore Virtualization platform.
The Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100 is a state-of-the-art edge, branch, and core IT Spectrum Virtualize unit that has been designed with powerful self-healing technology and simplified deployment.
“With Lenovo On Demand now offering the Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100 powered by Scale Computing HyperCore, customers have access to a powerful, modern virtualization platform that’s simple to deploy and manage anywhere, from data center to the edge,” states Craig Theriac, VP of product management at Scale Computing. “This joint solution delivers enterprise-class performance and reliability at the right scale and price point for organizations transitioning away from traditional hypervisors.”
Customers can acquire the Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100 through Lenovo on demand, with initial pricing set at approximately $10,000 for a three-node cluster.
The collaboration also includes Scale Computing’s software-enabled Reliant Platform edge computing infrastructure solution as an end-to-end ECaaS offering on Lenovo’s ThinkEdge SE100, particularly tailored for verticals like retail and hospitality applications.
The partnership addresses the rising needs for edge computing and AI by offering power-efficient, high-performance, and scalable designs.
