Riello UPS Introduces New Additions to Multi Power Range
Riello UPS, a leading uninterruptible power supply manufacturer, has recently expanded its Multi Power range with the introduction of a 300 kW version and three new 600 kW cabinets. These additions enhance the range’s flexibility, making it ideal for small to medium-sized data centers and other critical applications.
The new units offer several key benefits, including market-leading efficiency of 98.1% in online double conversion mode, scalable design for easy expansion, robust construction to eliminate single points of failure, and hot-swappable power modules for maintenance without downtime. The incorporation of advanced silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors helps reduce energy losses and heat generation, resulting in lower operating costs, cooling requirements, and carbon emissions for data center operators.
Expanded Multi Power Range
The expanded Multi Power range now includes:
- MP2 300: Supports up to 300 kW with bottom cable entry and an integrated manual bypass switch.
- MP2 500: Supports up to 500 kW with top cable entry, an integrated manual bypass switch, and air filters as standard.
- MP2 600: Supports up to 600 kW with a choice of switches and ventilation options.
These units can be installed in parallel, allowing for protection of up to 2,400 kW in a single system. Additionally, the Multi Power range includes the Multi Power2 Scalable (M2S) solution, available in 1000-1600 kW versions, designed to handle rapid load fluctuations, particularly in AI load profiles. By connecting multiple M2S UPS in parallel, data centers can protect up to 6,400 kW.
