Riello UPS Ireland Appoints Ian Jackson as New Managing Director
Riello UPS Ireland has announced the appointment of Ian Jackson as its new Managing Director. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Jackson will be leading the business as it settles into its new headquarters at H2 Baldonnell Business Park, Dublin 22.
Less than two years since its establishment in Ireland, the Italian-owned Riello UPS, the second-largest producer of uninterruptible power supplies in Europe, has relocated its subsidiary to a new facility in Dublin. The move is aimed at supporting the company’s growth in various sectors including data centers, pharmaceuticals, med-tech, aviation, fintech, and telecoms.
Jackson, an electrical engineering graduate of TU Dublin, brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. With a background in founding and leading Pure Power Systems, the first Irish distributor of Riello UPS systems, he is well-equipped to drive the brand’s presence in the Irish market. His focus will be on enhancing service support for Riello UPS customers, ranging from small office units to large-scale systems safeguarding critical infrastructure.
Working closely with Leo Craig, Managing Director of Riello UPS Ltd in the UK, Jackson is poised to capitalize on the untapped potential for growth in the Irish market. With a strong emphasis on leadership and customer service, the company is confident in Jackson’s ability to lead the team towards achieving their goals and expanding their market reach.
