Socomec Launches DELPHYS XM UPS System in the UK and IrelandIntroductionKey FeaturesEnhanced Serviceability and ResiliencyExpert Insight

Socomec has introduced the DELPHYS XM, an innovative uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system tailored for modern data centres and critical infrastructures in the UK and Ireland. This UPS, ranging from 300 to 800kVA/kW, boasts exceptional power density, energy efficiency, and a modular design that aims to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) while ensuring maximum power availability.

Key Features

The DELPHYS XM addresses the pressing challenges of increased power demand and limited space, which are particularly prevalent in the data centre markets of the UK and Ireland. This UPS can deliver 1MW in just 1m², reducing the footprint by 50% compared to average UPS systems and optimizing operational space. Moreover, it achieves up to 99% efficiency in Smart Conversion mode and 97.1% in online double conversion mode, resulting in reduced operational costs, energy consumption, cooling requirements, and up to 42 tons in CO₂ emissions savings.

Enhanced Serviceability and Resiliency

In addition to its energy-efficient design, the DELPHYS XM meets the serviceability and resiliency requirements of modern data centres. The UPS features an intuitive 10-inch HMI touchscreen for simplified monitoring and LED indicators for clear system status updates. Real-time remote troubleshooting, immediate fault analysis, and actionable alerts enable operators to swiftly address issues and minimize disruptions. The UPS’s modular design with hot-swappable 100 kW power modules ensures maximum uptime, supported by Socomec’s expert service packages offering tailored response times and 24/7 support.
