StackAI Secures $16M in Series A Funding to Enhance AI Agent Platform

StackAI, a leading platform provider based in San Francisco, CA, has successfully raised $16 million in Series A funding to further develop its innovative AI Agent technology. The investment round was spearheaded by Lobby VC, with contributions from notable investors such as LifeX Ventures, Guillermo Rauch (CEO of Vercel), and Bob Van Luijt (CEO of Weaviate). Additional support came from Gradient, Y Combinator, and Epakon Capital, alongside existing investors Soma Capital and True Capital Ventures, as well as various angel investors.

The primary goal of this funding is to support StackAI’s expansion efforts and boost the development of its AI Agent platform. The company plans to focus on improving agent retrieval quality, enhancing LLM tool accessibility, and ensuring secure deployment across various environments, including on-premises setups.

Under the leadership of Bernard Aceituno, StackAI has built a cutting-edge platform that empowers enterprises to create customized AI Agents. These agents are designed to interact with a wide range of data sources and systems, such as SharePoint, Snowflake, Salesforce, and Confluence, enabling them to perform tasks like knowledge management, data entry, content aggregation, and information categorization. StackAI’s solution prioritizes privacy, reliability, and efficiency, making it deployable on-premises and in virtual-private clouds (VPC).

Since its inception in April 2023, StackAI has assembled a talented team of 13 professionals with backgrounds from prestigious institutions like MIT, Meta AI, NASA, BCG Gamma, and IBM. The platform currently serves numerous organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, banks, hospitals, and universities, providing them with access to over 30 LLM providers and 100 data connectors while ensuring compliance with SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
