True Anomaly Secures $260M in Series C Funding for Space Security

True Anomaly, a company based in Centennial, CO, specializing in space security, has recently raised $260 million in Series C funding.
The funding round was led by Accel, with additional investments from Meritech Capital and existing backers including Eclipse, Riot Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and others. This investment will enable the company to accelerate its growth, expand its facilities, develop new products, and enhance its team, which is set to grow to over 250 employees within the next 18 months.
Under the leadership of CEO Even Rogers, True Anomaly focuses on developing technology that integrates spacecraft, software, and artificial intelligence to bolster the capabilities of the United States, its allies, and commercial partners.
One of the recent milestones for the company was the successful execution of its Mission X-2 campaign in December. True Anomaly also announced the launch of its Jackal spacecraft for development in GEO and cislunar orbits.
In addition to these achievements, the company has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Stephen Kitay as SVP of Space Defense and Frank Calvelli to the Board of Directors.
True Anomaly operates from offices in Colorado Springs, CO, Washington, D.C., and Long Beach, CA.
