Wi-Charge Raises $20M in Series C Funding for Long-Range Wireless Power

Wi-Charge, a company based in Tel Aviv, Israel, specializing in long-range wireless power technology, has successfully secured $20 million in Series C funding. The funding round was led by Standard Investments, with participation from both existing and new investors, including the EIC Fund, the investment arm of the European Innovation Council. This significant investment will be utilized by Wi-Charge to scale production, accelerate OEM integrations, and meet the increasing demand from partners.

Founded with the mission to enable automatic charging of smartphones and other smart devices, Wi-Charge utilizes patented infrared wireless power technology to deliver several watts of power safely and efficiently over room-sized distances. This innovative approach has positioned Wi-Charge as a leader in the long-range wireless power sector, offering a solution that addresses the growing need for convenient and hassle-free device charging.

With the latest injection of funds, Wi-Charge is well-positioned to further develop its technology, expand its reach, and solidify its position as a key player in the wireless power market. The company’s commitment to innovation and its dedication to addressing the evolving needs of consumers and businesses set it apart in an increasingly competitive landscape.
