WineFi Secures £1.5M in Seed Funding for Wine Investment Fintech Platform

WineFi, a leading wine investment fintech based in London, has successfully raised £1.5M in Seed funding.
The funding round was led by Coterie Holdings, with additional contributions from SFC Capital and Founders Capital.
With this financial support, WineFi plans to accelerate its growth trajectory and expand its team to better serve its growing client base.
Co-founded by Oliver Thorpe and Callum Woodcock, WineFi offers investors the opportunity to create customized portfolios or participate in diversified, expertly curated investment portfolios. By leveraging quantitative data analysis and extensive wine expertise, the platform enables investors to access a historically high-performing, tax-efficient asset class that exhibits low correlation with traditional investment options. WineFi caters to individual investors through its syndicate platform and provides tailored portfolio services to family offices. All wines are securely stored in Coterie Vaults, a UK government bonded warehouse, where optimal conditions are maintained to preserve the quality of the investment-grade wines.
