Cisco Collaborates with Nvidia and VAST Data to Offer Turnkey AI Infrastructure Package
Cisco has teamed up with Nvidia and VAST Data to provide customers with a comprehensive AI infrastructure solution that includes compute, network, storage, and data components. This all-in-one package aims to streamline the process of building AI infrastructure by offering pre-integrated solutions for AI workload data fabrics, large-scale training, and inference tasks.
The joint offering, known as Cisco Secure AI Factory with Nvidia, combines Cisco’s security and networking technology with Nvidia’s DPUs and storage options. It also incorporates Cisco’s Hypershield and AI Defense packages to enhance security throughout the AI model development and deployment process. Additionally, Nvidia BlueField-3 DPUs and SuperNICs are included to accelerate AI workloads in Ethernet-based cloud environments. The package also features the Nvidia AI Enterprise software platform, which provides pretrained models and development tools for AI applications.
VAST Data’s InsightEngine plays a crucial role in the collaboration by providing a data intelligence layer that seamlessly integrates with Cisco Secure AI Factory. This technology scans, organizes, and catalogs data stored in the VAST platform, allowing customers to quickly search and query their data for insights. By combining the strengths of Cisco, Nvidia, and VAST Data, this partnership aims to offer customers a robust and efficient AI infrastructure solution.
