Kane’s expertise will play a crucial role in shaping Verne’s people strategy as the company continues to grow.

Verne, a leading data center services provider, recently announced the appointment of Sarah Kane as their new HR Director. With a wealth of experience spanning more than two decades in senior HR roles at companies like Control Risks and CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, Kane is set to bring a fresh perspective to Verne’s executive team. CEO Dominic Ward expressed his excitement about Kane’s appointment, highlighting her proven track record in building and leading international teams.

“I am thrilled to join Verne during this exciting phase of growth,” Kane commented. “The company’s commitment to sustainability, coupled with its ambitious expansion plans, presents a unique opportunity for me to contribute towards enhancing the employee value proposition and fostering a purpose-led culture within the organization.”

Verne’s expansion efforts have received a significant boost with a $1.2 billion investment from Ardian, enabling the company to extend its presence across the Nordics. With a focus on leveraging the region’s favorable climate and renewable energy sources, Verne has announced plans to enhance its data center infrastructure in Helsinki and develop a cutting-edge facility in Mäntsälä, Finland.
