Ryan Mallory Promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Flexential
Flexential, a leading provider of secure data center colocation solutions, has announced the promotion of Ryan Mallory to the role of President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mallory, who joined Flexential in June 2020 as the COO of Colocation Services, has taken on increasing responsibilities within the company, culminating in his new position as COO.
In his new role, Mallory will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring the continued growth of the technology platform, and driving the execution of strategic initiatives. He will also be managing direct reports from all senior leaders within the organization.
Chris Downie, CEO of Flexential, will be focusing on enhancing business partnerships, long-term planning, and external relationships, as well as other external projects. This organizational change is part of Flexential’s executive succession plan and is aimed at supporting the company’s continued growth and diversification.

Since joining Flexential, Mallory has overseen the company’s expansion into key markets. This includes the development of new data center facilities in Douglasville, Georgia, and Hillsboro, Oregon, as well as an upcoming facility in Parker, Colorado. He has also been instrumental in driving important company initiatives, such as expanding collaboration with CoreWeave and the development of Flexential Fabric.
With over 25 years of experience in high-growth technological environments, Mallory brings a wealth of knowledge in edge computing and connectivity to his role at Flexential.
