This cutting-edge data center system from Vertiv is specifically engineered to facilitate the rapid deployment of high-density environments, such as AI training clusters and cloud computing platforms, in both new and existing hyperscale and colocation data centers. By adopting a prefabricated, plug-and-play design, Vertiv SmartRun enables infrastructure installation to be completed up to 85% faster than conventional stick-built systems. This streamlined process allows a single worker to install over 1MW of data center infrastructure in a single day, resulting in significant time and labor cost savings. Moreover, the simplified one-lift installation process consolidates multiple overhead systems – including cabling, power, containment, and cooling – into a cohesive deployment model, eliminating the need for extensive engineering reviews and intricate coordination.
A standout feature of the SmartRun system is its integrated stainless steel liquid cooling piping, which effectively addresses the escalating thermal challenges associated with AI workloads. This prefabricated cooling infrastructure supports the integration of advanced heat removal technologies, offering data centers a comprehensive and efficient liquid cooling solution while retaining flexibility for future expansions.
